Kelly
Emily Kelly is an actor and director from Dumfries in Dumfries and Galloway, Scotland.
She is a member of the Guild of Players, the resident theatre company at the Theatre Royal, Dumfries, and has performed in several productions there from 2007-present, as well as attending UKTheatre School Performing Arts Academy, Glasgow for two years between the ages of 15-17. Emily’s recent professional debut was in, “Transgressions” by Vivien Jones, Dumfries and Galloway tour, November 2018. Her directorial debut was in November 2018, staging “Bandelero the Bandit” by JM Barrie for the Peter Pan Moat Brae Trust.
She has a keen interest in live, immersive, thought-provoking performance.
Emily is interested in creating / performing pieces with bold aesthetics and statements, in which equality, particularly Feminism, is a key theme - stimulating difficult conversation.
