Kirsty is a queer working-class actor/theatre-maker from Dalbeattie in Dumfries & Galloway, now living in Glasgow. They are interested in multi-art-form performance, highlighting mental health difficulties in young people. Their work includes using verbatim theatre combined with intermediality to create dynamic performances that their audience can be engrossed in.

Kirsty currently features as Jessie McAllister on BBC’s ongoing drama RIVER CITY. Other credits include: Balisong (Strange Town), Glasgow Girls (BBC), Unconventional (Bickering Theatre), Bless This Acid House (Kasabian, music video) and Love and Information (Paul Brotherston).

Kirsty has been developing their first solo show WAVER. A sonic one-person theatre performance exploring visual and auditory hallucinations [AVH] as a result of borderline personality disorder [BPD].
